One Comment On “New Jersey Alimony Bill A4138”

  1. As a victim of domestic violence, I am grateful to Assemblywomen Gabriela Mosquera and Caroline Casagrande, as well as Assemblyman Troy Singleton, for sponsoring this bill. Domestic violence is gender neutral, yet one in ten women have been victims of domestic violence. The scars are deep. Yet paying alimony to an abuser is a perpetuation of the abuse, sanctioned by our own government. This bill is an important step in alimony reform and social justice. Thank you, brave and caring legislators.
